John Attridge is a seasoned entrepreneur and the visionary behind BBX UK. With two eight-figure business exits under his belt — including one via IPO — John has spent decades helping businesses unlock growth through one of the most overlooked assets: spare capacity.
His journey began in Australia during the 1989 airline pilots' strike, when a downturn in tourism forced him to think differently about idle stock in his car rental business. That moment sparked a passion for building trade communities, systems that allow businesses to generate more revenue without increasing costs.
After years of consulting globally and building a platform in Australia, John launched BBX UK in 2014, creating a trusted, growth-focused business network that now forms part of the BBX International family.
He’s also a published author and qualified cricket umpire, having officiated in national finals in both hemispheres. Outside of work, John has visited over 90 countries and spent more than 500 days at sea with his family, proof that he lives the lifestyle he helps others achieve.
